Connecting rod kit made from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 material and case-hardened to 58-62 Rc. Features include side scalloping and vent slots to minimize bearing race distortion at high RPM, a double-forged design for improved grain flow and dimensional consistency, and shot-peening and double honing for superior strength. The small end has double drilling for enhanced lubrication and cooling of the wrist pin bearing. Includes silver-coated thrust washers and crank pin bearings. The complete kit contains a rod, crank pin, crank pin bearing, top-end bearing, and thrust washers.
