This Wiseco connecting rod kit is engineered for superior performance and durability in demanding motorcycle applications. The double forging process ensures exceptional dimensional consistency by optimizing grain flow. Shot peening is employed to eliminate residual stresses and create smoother forging surfaces, enhancing the overall integrity of the rod.

A corrosion-resistant surface treatment provides an added layer of protection against environmental factors. The top end of the connecting rod features a bushing designed for optimal oil retention, preventing pin galling. The bottom end rod bore is case hardened to a hardness of 58-62 RC, creating a precision running surface for bearings that maximizes longevity.

Engineered oiling slots are strategically placed to maximize rod strength and extend bearing life. The small ends of the rod are double drilled, providing the piston pin with enhanced lubrication and cooling. This design actively reduces distortion in the top end caused by thermal transfer from the piston.

Included is a silver-coated bronze phosphor thrust washer with a dimpled design. This feature increases oil retention and significantly reduces friction between the rod and the washer interface, contributing to smoother operation and extended component life.
