Connecting rod rebuild kit manufactured from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 material and case-hardened to 58-62 Rc for superior durability. Features include side scalloping and vent slots to reduce high RPM bearing race distortion, double-forged rods for improved grain flow and dimensional accuracy, and shot-peening and double-honing for enhanced strength and durability. Double-drilled small ends provide superior lubrication and cooling of the wrist pin bearing. Silver-coated thrust washers and crank pin bearings offer added lubricity.
