Manufactured from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 steel and case-hardened to 58-62 Rc for maximum durability. Advanced design incorporates side scalloping and vent slots to minimize bearing race distortion at high RPMs. Double-forged rods improve grain flow and maintain dimensional consistency. Shot-peened and double-honed for superior resilience under heavy loads. Small ends are double-drilled for enhanced lubrication and cooling of the wrist pin bearing.
