The small tool is designed to fit the valves of 4- and 5-valve-per-cylinder heads (5.5mm valve stem dia. or smaller). The large tool is designed to fit the valves of 4-valve-per-cylinder heads (5.5mm valve stem dia. or larger under 40lbs. seat pressure).
