Important Preparation Notes:

For optimal performance and engine longevity, it is crucial to properly prepare the piston before installation. This includes chamfering all skirts and the ring groove, as well as carefully setting the ring gap. The included ring is designed to fit all sizes and is typically set to the largest gap.

The ring gap is positioned at the rear of the piston to align with the rear boost port. Ensure thorough chamfering of the rear port to accommodate this. For extended piston life, it is recommended to change the ring halfway through the piston's lifespan of 300 to 350 kilometers to prevent potential breakage of the ring locating tag.
