Athena Forged Racing Piston Kit
This Athena Forged Racing Piston kit is engineered for high-performance off-road motorcycles. Designed as a direct replacement for Athena Big Bore cylinder kits, this piston is manufactured using advanced reverse extrusion techniques and cutting-edge CNC machining to ensure precise dimensional tolerances of less than 0.01 mm.
Crafted from a special high-performance aluminum alloy with a high silicon content, these pistons offer exceptional reliability, superior resistance, and enhanced performance compared to Original Equipment (OE) pistons. The smooth piston profile promotes consistent airflow and optimal flame propagation for improved combustion efficiency.
Some piston skirts feature a molybdenum disulfide coating applied via screen printing. This treatment further reduces friction, boosting both performance and durability.
Athena pistons are meticulously engineered in Italy by their dedicated R&D department. Each piston undergoes rigorous testing on engine dynamometer benches under progressive stress loads and is validated on the track in extreme conditions to guarantee its performance and reliability.
