Blanks are produced using gravity cast or hydraulic forging, with material structure refined through a high-tech heat treatment in an automatic implant using hot water solubilization. Machining is completed using the latest CNC machines, software, and diamond tools, achieving specific surface finishes for different applications. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness, surface porosity, and superior adhesion qualities compared to Molybdenum Coating, doubling coating durability.
