YAMAHA BLASTER 200 1988-2006 GRADE E 67.00mm
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity casting or hydraulic forging and then refined with a heat treatment process using an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is performed using the latest CNC machines and diamond tools, achieving specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating, developed from Formula One engine technology, offers increased hardness and surface porosity for superior adhesion and durability of the Molybdenum Coating. This piston is Grade E and has a bore size of 67.00mm.
