The Motion Pro Valve Shim Tool is specifically designed to aid in the adjustment of valve clearance on Kawasaki twin-cam motorcycle engines. This essential tool securely holds down the valve spring bucket, facilitating the straightforward removal and replacement of adjusting shims.

- Rotate the crankshaft until the cam lobe is 180 degrees away from the tappet face.
- Insert the spring tool between the cam lobe and the shim. Apply pressure downwards, prying the tappet away from the cam.
- Position the tappet holder between the camshaft and the edge of the tappet.
- Remove the spring tool and proceed with changing the shim.
- Reinstall the spring tool to remove the tappet holder, then remove the spring tool.
