SUZUKI RM 80 (83cc) 1991-2001 GRADE A 47.43mm SINGLE RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon content depending on the application. They are produced using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by a heat treatment process in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quenching in hot water. Machining is done using the latest CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite for break-in and friction reduction. A newer Phosphate Coating offers increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion qualities, doubling the coating durability. This is a single ring piston with a 47.43mm bore size.
