Pistons are made using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by a heat treatment process. Machining is done with CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons feature a Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction, and a Phosphate Coating for enhanced durability and adhesion. This piston is 66.35mm with twin rings.
