Keep your fabric convertible soft top hoods in prime condition with the Auto Glym Soft Top Clean & Protect Complete Kit. Regular cleaning helps prevent the buildup of algae and maintains the vibrant, original color of your hood.
This comprehensive kit is designed for all types of fabric hoods, including mohair, double duck, fabric, and canvas. For vinyl hoods, a different cleaning and protection method is recommended.

How to Use:
- Prepare the hood by brushing and vacuuming to remove loose debris. Work in the shade.
- Dampen the soft top with water.
- Prepare the cleaning solution by mixing 250ml of Soft Top Cleaner with 500ml of water.
- Always test the solution on an inconspicuous area first to check for colorfastness.
- Saturate the provided cleaning sponge with the diluted cleaner and focus on stained or algae-affected areas.
- Apply the cleaner evenly across the entire fabric hood, working it into the material. For heavily soiled hoods, allow the cleaner to work overnight covered with a plastic sheet.
- Rinse the cleaner off thoroughly using a low-pressure hose. Ensure all cleaner residue is removed. Do not use a pressure washer.
- With the soft top still damp, proceed to apply the Soft Top Protector according to its specific instructions.
- Rinse and damp the blue Soft Top Protector applicator sponge.
- Apply the Soft Top Protector systematically for even coverage, using approximately half of the bottle.
- Immediately wipe away any overspray from paintwork and glass.
- Allow the protector to dry completely before driving.
Store products at room temperature and do not allow them to freeze.
