Crafted from a special high-performance aluminum alloy with a high silicon content, this piston offers superior strength and durability. Advanced CNC machining ensures dimensional tolerances of less than 0.01 mm for a perfect fit. The smooth piston profile promotes optimal air flow and combustion for increased power.

Some piston skirts feature a molybdenum disulfide coating, applied by screen printing, which further reduces friction for improved performance and extended lifespan. Athena pistons are rigorously tested on engine dynamometers and on the track to ensure they meet the highest quality standards and can withstand extreme conditions.

This piston kit includes the piston, piston pin, circlips, and piston rings. The piston rings are produced in Japan with wear-resistant coatings (PVD or chromium nitride) to increase durability and longevity. They are designed to adapt perfectly to the cylinder liner, even at low tangential load, minimizing friction and maximizing performance.
