Namura Piston Kit C for Yamaha YZ125. This high-performance piston assembly features a 54mm bore and part number NX-40009. Engineered in the USA and manufactured in Taiwan, it is constructed from high-silicon content hypereutectic cast aluminum for reduced heat expansion, tighter clearances, increased hardness, and longer life. The piston crowns are machined for reduced carbon buildup, increased horsepower, and fuel economy. Some pistons feature hard anodized crowns for 75% greater strength, minimal expansion, and reduced cold seizures. MOS2 Teflon/Molybdenum coated skirts reduce friction and heat for added power and longevity. Namura rings match OEM design. This is a fractional oversize piston (-C .0008 in.).
