Factory-Links bearings are packed with a heavy-duty premium marine grease and an addition of special complex thickeners, making them virtually waterproof. They provide unsurpassed rust and corrosion protection. To keep moisture out, grease filling has been increased from 30% to 60% for harsh conditions. Factory-Links bearing kits are specially developed for off-road use. Unlike industrial 2RS type ball bearings, these offer low torque resistance and therefore weak resistance to water intrusion.
