KTM SX / EXC 250 1996-1999 GRADE A 67.44mm TWIN RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminum alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon. Pistons are made using gravity casting or hydraulic forging processes, followed by heat treatment in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is completed using the latest CNC machines and software with diamond tools. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. Vertex also offers a new Phosphate Coating for increased hardness and superior adhesion. This product is a Grade A 67.44mm twin ring piston.
