KAWSAKI KX 80(82CC) 1992-2000 GRADE B 47.94mm TWIN RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex Silicon aluminium alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content. They are made using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by heat treatment in an automatic HT implant with hot water quenching. Machining is performed on CNC machines with diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion and durability of the Molybdenum Coating. This piston is 47.94mm and has twin rings.
