KAWASAKI KXF 450 2019-2022 GRADE C 95.98mm HIGH COMPRESSION 13.5:1 piston. Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminum alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content. The blank parts are made using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by heat treatment in an automatic HT implant with hot water solubilization. Machining is performed using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating, developed from Formula One engine technology, offers increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion, doubling the coating durability.
