Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. Vertex has introduced a new Phosphate Coating for increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion and durability. This piston is GRADE C, has a 95.98mm standard bore diameter, and a 13.2:1 compression ratio.
