Vertex pistons feature a Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating, similar to that used in Formula One, increases hardness and surface porosity for superior Molybdenum Coating adhesion and durability. This piston is Grade C, has a 95.98mm bore, and a 13.6:1 compression ratio.
