Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating to aid during piston break in and reduce friction. A new Phosphate Coating has been introduced for increased hardness and improved adhesion of the Molybdenum Coating, extending durability. Each piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control.
