Vertex four-stroke pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum alloy. Vertex pistons feature a Molybdenum Disulphide MOS2 coating on the piston skirt for reduced wear and an easier break-in process. Vertex pistons offer unique piston profiles and compression ratios in A, B, C, and D sizes, each differing by 0.01mm for precise cylinder fitment to maximize power, reduce blow-by, and lower oil consumption. This piston is Grade A, 78.96mm standard compression with a 13.9:1 ratio.
