Machining is done using the latest CNC machines and software with diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating offers increased hardness, light surface porosity, superior adhesion, and double the durability of the Molybdenum Coating. This replica piston has a 66.36mm bore and twin rings.
