The material structure is refined through a high-tech heat treatment in an automatic implant with solubilization by quenching in hot water. Machining is performed using the latest CNC machines and software with diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating to aid in break-in and reduce friction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion qualities for extended coating durability.
