Pistons are produced using gravity cast or hydraulic forging, followed by heat treatment in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools, achieving specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating offers increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion of the Molybdenum Coating, doubling its durability. This piston is Grade B, measures 94.96mm, with a standard compression of 12.6:1.
