Crafted using advanced reverse extrusion and cutting-edge CNC machining, Athena pistons achieve dimensional tolerances of less than 0.01 mm. They are constructed from a special high-performance aluminum alloy with a high silicon content, offering the same reliability as original equipment (OE) pistons while providing enhanced resistance and excellent performance.

The piston's perfectly smooth profile promotes regular flow and perfect flame propagation. Some piston skirts feature a molybdenum disulfide coating applied by screen printing to further reduce friction, boosting both performance and durability. Athena's commitment to quality ensures advanced technical solutions and standards equal to or better than OE production.

Each piston is meticulously engineered in Italy by Athena's R&D department and rigorously tested on engine dynamometer benches and on the track to validate performance under extreme conditions.

This piston kit includes the piston, pin, circlips, and piston rings. The included piston rings are produced in Japan with wear-resistant coatings (PVD or chromium nitride) for increased durability and reduced friction with the cylinder, leading to higher performance. All components are replaceable and interchangeable.
