Namura Piston C Assembly NX-20005-C. High-performance Namura pistons are engineered in the USA and manufactured in Taiwan using high-silicon content hypereutectic cast aluminum material for less heat expansion, tighter clearances, increased hardness, longer life, and reduced scuffing. Features include machined, smooth piston crowns for reduced carbon buildup, increased horsepower, and fuel economy. Hard anodized crowns are 75% stronger than non-anodized, providing minimal expansion and reducing the chance of cold seizures. MOS2 (Teflon/Molybdenum) coated skirts reduce friction and heat. Uses state-of-the-art CNC equipment and a low-expansion, low-friction piston alloy. Includes an OEM-style tin coating to assist the break-in process. Piston assemblies include ring(s), wrist pin, and circlips. Fractional oversize pistons are available for some applications to extend cylinder life.
