Athena Forged Racing Piston Kit
This Athena forged racing piston kit is engineered for high performance and reliability. Manufactured using cutting-edge CNC machining, these pistons achieve dimensional tolerances of less than 0.01 mm. Constructed from a special high-performance aluminum alloy with a high silicon content, they offer enhanced resistance and excellent performance while maintaining OE-level reliability.
The piston's smooth profile promotes regular flow and perfect flame propagation. Some piston skirts feature a molybdenum disulfide coating applied by screen printing to further reduce friction, boosting performance and durability. Athena engineers ensure advanced technical solutions and quality standards that meet or exceed OE production.
Each piston is rigorously tested on engine dynamometer benches and on the track to validate performance in extreme conditions. The included piston rings, produced in Japan with wear-resistant coatings (PVD or chromium nitride), minimize friction with the cylinder, leading to higher performance and increased durability. The rings adapt perfectly to the cylinder liner even at low tangential load.
This complete piston kit includes the piston, pin, circlips, and piston rings. All components are replaceable and interchangeable.
