Vertex Four-stroke Pistons are forged from the highest quality 2618 aluminum alloy, suitable for modern four-stroke engines. Vertex pistons feature a unique Molybdenum Disulphide MOS2 coating on the piston skirt for break-in and wear reduction. Unique piston profiles and compression ratios are offered in A, B, C and D sizes. This variation in sizing, 0.01mm, allows for perfect piston to cylinder sizing to maximize power and performance while reducing blow-by and oil consumption. This is a Grade B piston with a 76.96mm bore and a 14.7:1 compression ratio.
