YAMAHA YZ 250 1999-2022 GRADE C 66.36mm SINGLE RING RACE PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, then heat-treated for material structure refinement. Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools, achieving specific surface finishes for each application. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous quality control. Pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating offers increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion and durability of the Molybdenum Coating. This piston is 66.36mm with a single ring and is a Grade C race piston.
