YAMAHA YZ 250 1990-1995 GRADE B 67.95mm TWIN RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content. They are produced using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by a heat treatment process involving solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is performed on CNC machines with diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes rigorous quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness and surface porosity for superior adhesion and durability of the Molybdenum Coating. This piston has a 67.95mm bore and twin rings.
