SUZUKI RM 250 2003-2012 GRADE B 66.35mm SINGLE RING RACE PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12% 18% or 21% silicon. They are produced using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes. The material structure is refined using a hi-tech heat treatment process with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is completed using CNC machines and software with diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and reduced friction. A new Phosphate Coating offers increased hardness and porosity for superior Molybdenum Coating adhesion and durability. This is a single ring race piston with a 66.35mm bore size.
