SUZUKI RM 250 2003-2012 GRADE A 66.34mm TWIN RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminum alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon, depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, followed by a heat treatment in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is done using CNC machines and diamond tools, achieving specific surface finishes. All Vertex pistons undergo manual and automatic quality control. The pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. Vertex also offers a new Phosphate Coating for increased hardness and superior adhesion of the Molybdenum Coating, doubling coating durability. This piston has a bore size of 66.34mm and features twin rings.
