KTM SX / XC-W 2016 - 2023 EXC TPi 2020 GRADE B 57.95mm SINGLE RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon, depending on the application. They are produced using gravity cast or hydraulic forging, followed by a hi-tech heat treatment process. Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools for specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. The pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite for break-in and friction reduction. Vertex also offers a new Phosphate Coating for increased hardness, surface porosity, and enhanced Molybdenum Coating adhesion, doubling its durability. This is a Grade B, 57.95mm single ring piston.
