KAWASAKI KXF 450 2009-2012 GRADE A 95.96mm STD COMPRESSION 12.7:1
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content depending on the application. They are produced using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by a heat treatment process for material refinement. Machining is performed on the latest CNC machines using diamond tooling to achieve specific surface finishes. Each Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. The pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating to aid in break-in and reduce friction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness and superior adhesion of the Molybdenum Coating for extended durability. This V.3445A piston is Grade A, with a standard compression of 12.7:1 and a bore of 95.96mm.
