Each Vertex piston undergoes a rigorous quality control process. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. Vertex also offers a new Phosphate Coating for increased hardness, surface porosity, and superior adhesion of the Molybdenum Coating, doubling coating durability. This piston is 76.95mm with a 13.4:1 compression ratio.
