Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite for break-in and friction reduction, and some feature a new Phosphate Coating for increased hardness and superior adhesion of the Molybdenum Coating.
