KAWASAKI KX 250 1998-2001 GRADE B 66.36mm TWIN RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex Silicon aluminium alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon content. They are produced using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by a heat treatment process. Machining is done using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons feature a Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction, and a new Phosphate Coating that increases hardness, surface porosity, and Molybdenum coating durability. This piston has a 66.36mm bore size and is designed for twin ring applications.
