KAWASAKI KX 250 1992-1997 GRADE A 66.35mm TWIN RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% Silicon content depending on the application. They are produced using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by a heat treatment process in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quenching in hot water. Machining is performed on CNC machines with diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each Vertex piston undergoes a thorough manual and automatic quality control process. Vertex pistons are coated with a Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness, surface porosity, and superior adhesion of the Molybdenum Coating for extended durability. This piston is 66.35mm.
