KAWASAKI KX 125 1995-2000 GRADE A 53.95mm SINGLE RING RACE PISTON. Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminum alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon. The pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes. Material structure is refined using a hi-tech Heat Treatment process. Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. Vertex also offers a Phosphate Coating which increases hardness and surface porosity for superior adhesion and durability.
