KAWASAKI KX 100 1998 - 2022 GRADE C 52.46mm SINGLE RING RACE PISTON
Single ring race piston. Piston diameter is 52.46mm. Vertex pistons are manufactured using low-expansion silicon-charged aluminum alloys (12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content). Pistons are manufactured using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, followed by heat treatment in an automatic HT implant with hot water quench. Machining is performed using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. All Vertex pistons undergo rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness, surface porosity, and superior Molybdenum Coating adhesion for extended durability.
