KAWASAKI KX 100 1998 - 2022 GRADE A 52.44mm SINGLE RING RACE PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminum alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by heat treatment in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quenching in hot water. Machining is done using CNC machines with diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes rigorous quality control. Vertex pistons feature a Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available for increased hardness and superior adhesion of the Molybdenum Coating, doubling its durability. This piston has a bore of 52.44mm and is a single ring race piston.
