Machining is performed on CNC machines using diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, which offers increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion qualities for extended durability.
