HONDA CR 125 2000-2003 GRADE B 53..93mm SINGLE RING RACE PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminum alloys, silicon-charged to between 12% and 21% depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, then heat-treated in an automatic implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is done on CNC machines with diamond tools, achieving specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous quality control. Pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite for break-in and friction reduction. A new phosphate coating offers increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion qualities to the Molybdenum coating, doubling coating durability. This is a Grade B, 53.93mm single ring race piston.
