Gas Gas MC 125 2021-2023 Grade D 53.97mm Race Evolution Piston
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content, depending on the application. The pistons are produced using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by a high-tech heat treatment process. Machining is done with the latest CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating to aid break-in and reduce friction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion qualities for enhanced coating durability. This piston has a 53.97mm bore diameter.
