Gas Gas MC 125 2021-2023 Grade B 53.95mm 12 Degree VHM Twin Ring Piston
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by heat treatment in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is completed using the latest CNC machines and software with diamond tools. Each Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating to aid break-in and reduce friction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available which has increased hardness and light surface porosity for superior adhesion and durability of the Molybdenum Coating. This piston is Grade B, 53.95mm with a 12 Degree VHM Twin Ring design.
