Pistons are produced via gravity cast or hydraulic forging, with material structure refined through heat treatment in an automatic HT implant using hot water solubilization. Machining is performed using the latest CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons feature a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction, and a new all-over Phosphate Coating for increased hardness and superior adhesion, extending coating durability. This piston is Grade B, 87.97mm bore, standard compression, 15.1:1.
