The DRC Dirt Racer design and alloy-impregnated heavy-duty cork-based friction construction balance bite modulation and durability under heat. Supplied as a kit including friction plates steel separator plates and heavy-duty clutch springs it is suitable for off-road ATV and motorcycle clutch applications. Features anti-swell alloy-impregnated cork-based facings for smooth engagement and improved heat resistance. Designed to allow modulation and reduce snatch compared with paper-type friction materials. Steel separator plates are included to help maintain correct stack height and reduce oil contamination from plate wear. Swaged aluminium carriers spread load across the clutch basket and help reduce basket dogging. Heavy-duty clutch springs are uprated by around 10–15%. Not for use with fully synthetic oil.
