ThisIron Baltic chassis skid plate in PHD plastic offers full coverage of the bottom, front part, control arms and drive shafts.
Iron Baltic PHD Plastic Skid Plate Features
- Full coverage: fully protects the bottom and front part as well as the control arms, drive shafts etc.
- Reinforced front part with additional bolted on protection at the front bottom, the area that takes most of the impacts
- Made from high density polyethylene (PE-HWU) with excellent sliding properties, high corrosion and chemical resistance, and superb UV-protection
- Remains very tough even at low temperatures (even at -50 degrees C / -58 degrees F) but is flexible enough not to deform and regains its shape after an impact
- Structurally rigid and durable, with low friction properties
- Upward bent sides add rigidness and structural integrity and protect important plastic details of the vehicle
- Multi-part design of separately removable pieces (front part, middle part, back part, control arm protectors, etc.) for easier replacement of damaged areas and simpler maintenance
- Holes for mud draining and washing, for oil changing without removing the skid plate (motor, transmission and reducer oil), and for plough mounting kits
- Bowl-shaped washers protect the screw bolt heads so they can be removed later with ease
